Raphael Tesha: A Journey of Growth
Born in 1979 in Kilimanjaro, Raphael Tesha grew up in Moshi
before moving to Dar es Salaam with his mother. He studied
at Tandika Primary School and later trained at Moshi Technical
College. After college, he worked as a government forklift operator,
where he discovered his interest in logistics.
In 2007, using his savings, Raphael bought his first forklift and
started his own business. Today, his company is one of Tanzania’s
leading logistics providers, owning the only two 96-wheel modular
trailers in the country and a $9 million equipment portfolio. In 2018,
the company ranked 5th among Tanzania’s top mid-sized companies.
